Who’s In Our Garden?
MEET THE TEAM!
Hi, I’m Brittany! I created Therapy Haven to allow space for meaningful, safe and intentional growth and healing. I am so grateful you are here! Deciding to begin therapy is a meaningful step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
In our sessions, we will move at a gentle pace, ensuring that you feel safe and grounded as we navigate your concerns. I work with adults 25 + who are navigating depression, anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), women’s issues, and challenges within romantic and family relationships. I serve a diverse client population and value working with individuals from many different backgrounds, belief systems, and cultures.
My approach to therapy is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Humanistic principles. I focus on helping clients regulate emotions to process life’s challenges with a clearer heart and mind. Together, we also identify your strengths and explore how to use them intentionally when navigating life’s stressors.
Hi, I'm Shirrita! I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support takes courage, and my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered from the very first session.
In our work together, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while exploring the challenges that have been weighing on your heart and mind. I work with teens (13–17) and adults (18+) who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and women's issues. I strive to create a supportive environment where you can show up authentically, knowing you will be met with compassion rather than judgment.
My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with supportive therapy techniques to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. My hope is that you leave each session feeling encouraged, equipped, and more confident in your ability to create the life you want.
Camry Brown, Intern
Clinical Mental Health Intern
Hi, I’m Camry! I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Fort Valley State University, and I have a passion for creating a space where people feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bullying, and behavioral challenges. Whether you’re struggling with difficult emotions, navigating relationships, working through challenging behaviors, or simply trying to better understand yourself, my goal is to provide a space where you can show up authentically without fear of judgment.
My approach is empathetic, creative, honest, and patient. I believe growth looks different for everyone, and I’m committed to meeting clients where they are while encouraging them to continue moving toward where they want to be. Clients can expect me to listen closely, care deeply about their growth, and offer a supportive and nonjudgmental environment throughout the counseling process.
I believe resilience can be strengthened, change is possible, and you don’t have to figure everything out alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you grow.
